The SMC is a battery charger designed to be mounted on board in battery powered vehicles (scissor lifts, golfcarts, etc…).
It has been designed for maximum reliability in wet and dusty environments.

The SMC has three selectable charging curves (IU, IUa, IUIa), suitable to charge both lead-acid and gel-cell batteries.

The output current is independent from the variations of the AC input.

The exclusive power control system of the SMC ensures a high power factor, high efficiency and very low EMI (electro magnetic interference),
while the simple construction allows very easy service/maintenance operations.
